Tokays regenrating tail

How long after a tokay drops its tail does it take for it to regrow? Will it look sort of normal after it grows? Or will it be stumpy and short like when a leopard or fat tail gecko regrow their tails?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It'll be stump, shorter, and smooth when it regrows. Obviously, the longer from the time of drop, the longer it will be. I'm not sure how long it takes for a full regrow, but I know one of my goldens dropped her tail years ago (the mistakes of under-educated youth) and it's fully regrown.
