Yeah, my bad bite came from a strong jawed 126 gram adult male.
Wow, thought it would never stop bleeding.
I know after that to use tongs too.......or do I ? hmmmm

Hi. Think most of us are supposed to learn from it.
Even though I preach tongs, you can see the "ah, this one won't"
get me attitude.
My mind marked down.....don't do this when this guy is an adult size.
He's pretty young but almost broke the skin already.

I wouldnt bother using tongs but thats likely cause Im use to getting bit by something much bigger. So these little guys, even if they did bite me, is a lot less worse then getting bit by say oh.. a 6ft redtail boa or a caiman (dwarf croc)

Meh... I get bit like that all the time. It's just a pinch. I only am wary of my male, whose bite does make me bleed. But even then I've been bit by much worse, so I don't really mind. I hate how little control one has with tongs.

This guy will have STRONG jaws soon.(still a baby)
I will use tongs with him then.
One really bad bite is all I want.And I've had it. (126 gram large adult male)

No 'real' bites from any leo's yet (bleeding). Worse reptile bite I have had so far is a Blood Python, meanest thing I have come across, so far; he just kept striking. But I did learn the hard way that my beardies can draw blood, and it was the female, who is the calmer of the two.

Hahaha! You have a great laugh H.J., reminds me of Santa Claus. When it comes to feeding my sweeties their weekly treats of waxies I'm always sure to whip out the tongs because they go absolutely bat guano crazy over them, literally jumping and almost doing flips in the air and diving for my fingers. I love watching them make such a fuss over the wax worms, so darn cute it's unbearable.
