On Tuesday the 17th of June a fire broke out near our Home. We were alerted that if the fire progressed further towards our area we would have to leave. This was very frightening to think we might loss our home. While my wife ran around and packed the necessary items to take with us I told our kids to pick out 5 toys they couldn't live with out, one of the hardest things I've had to do is explain why they could only take five and leave the rest but they did it.As the fire progressed we could feel the fire planes buzz the house as they were attempting to put out or control the fire. With all the panicky packing going on I started to break down, my geckos! what was i going to do with them all, how would I pack them all, would there be enough room in the truck and van, all these thoughts were rushing through my mind. At this point ,I am really starting to worry. Until the phone ran, Its was Marcia! I had called earlier to let her know what was going on with the fire and such.God bless you Marcia you truly saved me. Marcia help calm me down and gave me a great plan on how to take all my geckos safely. But most importantly she was just there for me Thank you Marcia and thank you Brittney for calling later to see if every one was all right thank you guys!! And god bless the fire men and women who put there lives on the live to protect us! The fire was put out or under control by the next day by those brave men and women!!!
