It shouldn't exceed 95 on the surface of the hot side. If you're using a probe or infrared thermometer to measure the surface temperature, then that is definitely way too hot. Bulbs are not necessary for leopard geckos, they do best with an under tank heater.

Like stated before, if the surface temperature is 112 then yes get a lower wattage bulb or a better idea would be to get a better heatpad. What size tank and heatpad do you have?

not sure on how many liters the tank is but it is 22x12x10 inches and the mat covers about 1/2 of it and is at max setting and was still low temp at about 88ºF when it was just the mat

with the bulb i have now (50watts) it is now at 95ºF and she has been more active all day but is still not eating her crickets so i am feeding her a mixture of chicken baby food, olive oil, calcium powder and multivitamin supplement for lizards and geckos.

I honestly believe your heat pad you previously mentioned was too small, so it was not producing enough heat (the smaller the heat pad, the smaller the wattage). How many watts was it?
I would ditch the heat lamps because these have been known to cause problems in leos (well, from my experience). I think your best bet would be to try a larger heat pad that covers 1/3 of the tank, not 1/2. If you wish to keep the heat lamps, you will still need a heat pad for your gecko to digest her food properly anyway.
