Just wondering what to do in this situation. I have a breeding size (60 grams) Mack Tremper Enigma, I have an ovulating eclipse, and an ovulating super snow female I tried to breed him with today. The problem is that he runs away from them, and totally flips out. Should I just keep introducing the pair? What tricks do you use, when a male is afraid of females for no reason?

Are they all being introduced to him at the same time?
If so only put one female and the male together at one time.
He might just be overwelmed if they are all in there together.

Wait to see what other people say as well.

He may just not be ready to breed.. I have had a couple of males that were of breeding size.. but they just needed to wait a little while.. I just kept reintroducing and watching them while introducing.. Eventually they got the job done.. It just took them quite a few introductions.. and they gained a lot more wait.. they eventually figured it out.. :p

You will be fine.. Just give him some more time.

I had a timid male. I just kept introducing them and even left them to have their little fling overnight. Now he's got it down, no more jitters. Maybe he was a virgin, I don't know, but now he has the most offspring of all my males. He makes some cuties too. He's an Emerine Albino.

The first time I introduced my DBs it was supposed to just get the female ovulating, but the male just ran up and took charge. That was my very first breeding experience, I guess I got lucky. Those two weren't shy at all, and they couldn't care less about having an audience. I was so proud of my DB Frank White (The King of New York). If you're not too nervous leave them together overnight, then it will happen, I must admit, I was a nervous wreck when I did that, but it worked.

Yeah, this ones dad was a little nervous as well. I left the father of this one (SSTA) in with the mother (Enigma, het Tremper) for about a week. But, I almost fell that he’s would be too stressed to have the geckos left in the cage with him. I guess I’ll just reintroduce them every couple of days for about 15 minutes.
