Training to eat from dish

I got my leo from a pet store that kept them on sand and just dumped the mealworms in the cage. I'm sure this triggered the hunt instinct in them but its a hassle for me because Lenny is now spoiled and has to "hunt" her mealies, which consists of me dumping the mealie in front of her one at a time and waiting for her to snatch and swallow them till I dump the next one. If I put them in a dish she gets really wary. She will sort of nose bump them, kinda lick them, but wont eat them. But as soon as I take one out and put it on the paper towel in front of her, she's all for it.
It would be so much easier for me if I was able to put the amount she normally eats in a dish for her and it not take 30 minutes of me standing over the cage for feeding time.
How do I go about training her to do this?

Leave em in the dish. when she gets hungry she will know where to find food. When I feed my geckos i put about 10 or so Meal worms in each of their dishes. whatever was not eaten by the end of the night gets tossed into my worm colony in the morning.

What Korb said is good. I also make sure they see me putting mealworms in the dish. Like tonight, one of the females was eating the worms as fast as I was putting them in the dish. It was funny but cool to watch.

I showed my gecko where the worms are but they will find the food either way, I put about 2 weeks of mealworms in a dish at a time

thanks guys. it worked. i put about 8 worms in a lid and left her alone. came back in the room to check on her and she was eating the last one in the dish then she sauntered off to go back to sleep in her log.
