Translucent Leopard Gecko

I know I haven't posted in a longggg time so I thought I'd update with something fun. One week old trans after first shed. Poor thing has clear eyelids so I have to be careful with my lights. Skin is super smooth like rice paper.

Thats really strange! Did you breed for it to be llike this, or is it a birth defect? Either way its really cool!

Probably took a wrong turn in the incubation-development or evolution.. I hope it makes it!!

I'm guessing it stopped developing early. Trans genes haven't been found in leopard geckos yet so I'm not sure if it's genetic. Here is a short video with the hatchling.
