OK, so I live at school with my girlfriend, and we are going home for about a week for Christmas and all that. I am going to need to bring my leo home for the 1 hour drive. What is the safest way to do this? I am guessing I should not keep him in his tank for the drive because of the possibility of things moving around. I need some suggestions, thanks in advance.

Put it in a plastic bowl a lid and papertowels to hide under, when I take mine to the vet I even tape a hot hands to the bottom of the bowl.

Edit make sure the bowl has holes in it for air.

I just drove one for an hour today. I warmed up a cooler in the car using the heater, then added a couple of muscle warming pads, the kind you stick to your back. The heating pads don't get too warm, and they put out heat for eight hours. I just buckled the cooler into a seat belt , added the Leo, and drove. I checked on him a few times to make sure he didn't get too warm and had enough air, and he seemed to take the trip okay.

Thanks for the heating pad tip! I need to drive 7 hours with mine in a few weeks and I live in Michigan!
