Travel Stress

So I have to go on a two hour drive from university to home and back twice a year. My little guy has done this twice and traveled one other time. He usually is fine, the first time he ever traveled he had a bit of runny poo, but we were on a dirt road. This time, I blame my father's driving, he vomited the two crickets he ate last night back up, half digested.
Out of a total of five car rides, two incidents doesn't seem too bad.
Does anyone else have travel stories about their geckos? Do they seem to travel alright or get really stressed out, and what do you do about it?

i have to travel with mine every time i go home from college...and it's 3 hours. i go home a lot, but they seem to deal with it fine. nothing unusual. i just keep them in the tank, and strap them in. i have a plug thing in my car so their UTH is still working.

It is Stressful

It is Stressful for them because their environment is changing.

Throwing up the Crickets is not due so much to being car sick although that did not help but, it was due to being stressed.

Then, it stresses them when they throw up.

Sure ... it shouldn't do too much harm but, you have to remember that it is stressful.

So don't feed her a day or so before you move her.

Keep her warm and a place to hide.

Newton comes home from college with me whenever i have breaks too, which is about a 6 hour car ride. She has been fine so far. this time, she was in a deli cup in a corner of the tank, which was strapped into the back seat. when i stopped to get gas, i looked back and she was out of the cup. I probably didnt snap the lid on all the way.

She ended up being fine and i just put her right back into the cup, but i was scared because i had a lot of loose things in the tank, like cans of calcuim powder and stuff that could have squished her.
