Travelling with a gecko

I am staying with my friend for a whole week and I can't find anyone to look after her :(
I have bought a ventilated carry case for her and a heat pad so she's warm when travelling and luckily my friend has the same Viv as me so I can bring all my geckos hides and things!
Will this be okay? The journey is only 2 hours!
Thanks for your help

Your gecko will be fine. A 2 hour trip will be nothing for her if she is kept fairly warm. Could you possibly just bring your whole Viv or is it too big?

If you're going in a car, just keep in mind that sun beating through the windows can make a car very hot, so please be careful about leaving the gecko in the car for any period of time.

A week is fine for a gecko tbh. Just give plenty of food and fresh water before you go aslong as you are no more than a week, itll be fine if its hassle taking the gecko with you

I really think it would be better to leave the gecko at home... That's a very stressful experience for a gecko and she would be totally fine for just one week. She's not a dog, she will not enjoy that trip at all and can easily be left at home for a week.

IMO, it is in the gecko's best interest to be left at home. I have left all of my geckos and other reptiles home for longer than 1 week and they have always been 100% fine. Just leave some mealies in an escape-proof bowl and make sure she has water. This is what I do.
