I just received a new breeding pair of Leopards and the man I bought this from said he was a tremper albino, but I think he is just an albino. Can you help me guys? I'm somewhat new to the gecko breeding but I have bred everything else! They sure are pretty though! Thanks for your help.

There are three strains of albino- Tremper, Bell, and Rainwater. You can't have just an "albino," it has to be one of the three strains. So looks like you've got a Tremper :)

in addition to Isla's comment...

All 3 strains are genetically incompatable with one another.

Breeding a....

Tremper albino to Bell albino = normal pigmented offspring
Tremper albino to Rainwater albino = normal pigmented offspring
Bell albino to Rainwater albino = normal pigmented offspring.

The only way to get pure version of each strain is to breed each strain to itself. It is highly frowned upon to combine the strains, particularly since the Bell and Tremper strains can look very similar. As hatchlings all 3 strains can be difficult to distinguish from one another. By breeding any of the other 2 strains into the 3rd you effectively create what are called double heterozygotes (the offspring carry the genes for both forms of albinos from a given cross). To the best of my knowledge, to date noone knows if they've ever produced offpsring from double het pairings that express both forms of albinism at the same time. The assumption is that the genetic combination is a deleterious, or lethal gene combination.
