Tremper Albino X SHCT

Am I right in thinking that if I breed the offspring of this pair together, there would be a possibility of sunglows? Just getting my head around the genetic side of things ready to try breeding next year but would love to eventually produce some sunglows in the future

I think to possibly get a Sunglow you would need to breed a Tremper Albino x SHTCT het Tremper. You would probably have the best luck if you use a Tremper that is showing minimal pattern (or maybe a Tremper Patternless Albino?) and a SHTCTB het Tremper with the most vibrant Tangerine you can find to get a shot at a really nice vibrant Sunglow, then linebreed it to refine it.

I'm still newer at morphs, though. So if I'm incorrect someone will correct me I'm sure.

A tremper x SHTC would produce all normals with varying degrees of spotting and orange and 50% will be het for tremper. Breeding the offspring together would be a gamble, because you wouldn't be able to tell which ones are het for tremper and which ones aren't.

I personally wouldn't use a patternless tremper (assuming you mean murphy's patternless?) because than that would throw in yet another 50% het patternless and wouldn't do anything for making sunglows.

No, I don't mean a Tremper MP cross but a Tremper that has been selectively bred to show no pattern. EDIT: I guess calling it a TPA isn't the right way of saying it, though, because that implies that a MP is in it genetically. Sorry.

If you bred a Tremper x SHTCTB het Tremper you would get the following results:

Same as if you bred Murphy Patternless Tremper x SHTC you'd get Normals(once again, varying) all 100% het Tremper, Murphy Patternless because the MP and TAlbino would both be visual.

Tremper Albino x SHTC = Normals(varying in colour, some Tangs are possible) het Tremper.

If you chose the brightest ones with the least pattern(so say you get a pair of Tangerine het Tremper, use those) and bred them you could get:-
Normal 66% poss het Tremper - Some possible Tangerine 66% poss het Tremper.
Tremper - Some possible Tangerine Trempers.
Sunglow.

The Sunglow is dependant on how much of their pattern is reduced as a Sunglow is a SHTCTB(Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy) Tremper. This is the problem with working with polygenic things such as Tangerine, Patternless-Stripe, etc.. You can't really predict it properly.

A lot of people are considering hypino are sunglows as well. Im not sure if the colors with be amazing as a shtc x tremper but it would be cheaper to make or buy.
