Trip to Marcia's House [Golden Gate Geckos]

So David and I went to Marcias on Saturday to pick up a couple geckos [a RAPTOR from Marcia, and 2 geckos she was holding for Brandon (Reptirus)] And we had a total blast.

We got to see all of her awesome stuff, and geek out, and take LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of pictures! ahahha.

I have NEVER seen such big leopard geckos! With tails 2x the size of my thumb, and sweet as can be!!

And Marcia got to see my uber ghetto set up [literally a cardboard BOX with some computer paper haha] and tho its not albino-friendly, the stuff I DID photograph did well.

David also won the bet that geckos that are regularly handled and loved on [an understatement hahah] are MUCH more complacent when it comes to getting their pictures taken.

I figured I would post them all here, since I couldnt even tell you the names of the species, let alone what section they go into haha.

Sadly, I am not at home right now, so I dont have access to Photoshop, or any way to work on all my pictures. Currently David is slaving away uploading my originals to our server so I can go to school on Tuesday and crop/edit them and THEN I will have lots of pictures to post.

LOL!!! You guys didn't tell me you had any kind of bet going! Dang, I would have gotten in to the wager myself!

I really enjoyed having you guys over to spend the day being my captive audience to show off my geckos to. I get so excited when gecko folk pay us a visit, and you two are the BEST!!!

Yes, Tamara is quite an accomplished photographer... ghetto light-box and all. I have hired her (seriously!) to come back and take all new photos for the GALLERY page of my website so they all don't look like the 'gecko for sale pictures' I take.

I am really looking forward to seeing the copped versions of all the fantastic photos she took of my sweet babies!!!!

Hi Tamara,

those are some really nice pics. I like the interesting perspective in that first shot. Shows the long tail of the Coleonyx perfectly.
And that second one shows the cute face of Gavin (that's him, right Marcia?) so nicely.
I can't wait to see all the other pictures you took!

Great you had some fun at my American families house, - of course you had because Marcia is such an awesome person.
I hope you had the chance to meet Glenn as well? He is fun.

Yup! That's Gavin! He is the most photogenic gecko in my collection, and certainly my favorite knobbie. I think his photos really show his attitude and what a little character he is! LOL!

hahaha, you think that tang is good? Check out this lady: she has a little stuck shed on her face, but with that color after breeding? Still pretty close to flawless IMO.

I found out that 300 of the pictures are MIA, including the ones of the patternless carrot tail, and any around that one, and my FTP is still giving me trouble, but it is giving me a few pics here and there.

Hey, I told you guys I am going to hire Tamara to come and photograph my geckos for the "GALLERY" page of my website so they don't all just look like 'geckos for sale' shots. That's the only way I know to take pictures of my geckos! LOL!
