Trouble opening eyes?

Well, today I walked in to my room to feed my Leopard gecko Snowball and he was sleeping. Well, apparently not when I put the mealworm in front of his face he didn't open his eyes but he still ate it. He kept them closed throughout the feeding session.

The tank is a ten gallon with a 10-20 gallon zoomed heatpad and a 50 watt infrared light over the middle of the cage. This brings the warm side to 92~ and about 78~ on the cold side.

Open the eye and see if there is a film, stuck shed, or any type of seepage. You may want to use a moist cotton ball to wipe anything from the eye that may have irritated it. Since it is both eyes it may be an infection of some sort. Let us know what you find, and we may be able to help further from that point. I'd say take a picture, but I'm sure that would be close to impossible.

How am I supposed to open his eyes? He won't let me touch his head.
