My frog eyed gecko (t.scincus) recently shedded and it has bits of skin stuck on its toes. I know that for leos you just take the skin off carefully but my T.scincus wont let me remove the skin and it it's scales are very delecate so i cant pick it up. Should i leave the skin on and let it be removed naturally or is there a way i can remove it without stressing out the gecko? Thanks for any help or replies! :main_huh:

Actually the only time I used a high humidity thing with these is when I put one in who had a bad shed. I'd try and see if putting it in a container with a wet paper towel/tissue helps soften it up.

I then had to manually remove it.

Hey do you have pics? I haven't seen a real T. scincus in so long.

Awesome. I wish I saw more T. scincus. Most ones are just mislabeled.

I was actually suprized I could take the shed off without it tearing the skin.
