Are 12 - 16 quart tubs really suitable for an adult leo? I have had mine singly in 28 qt. Sterilites for ever now and never cosidered anything smaller. If it is considered by most to be ok to go with the smaller tubs, I think I will build my next rack around the 15? qt. Sterilites.

Thanks Marcia,

I'd like to design my next rack around the 15 quart tubs. This is a very significant difference in both space and cost from the 32 quart size. I just thought more space was better and the 15 's do seem kind-of small. The 15 quart Sterilite tubs are 11 by 16 inches if you measure from the outer top lip of the tub, but the interior dimensions at the bottom are only 8 by 13 inches. I've read in many places that a 10 gallon fish tank is a good size for a single adult leo and one of those has about 200 square inches of floor space (10 by 20 inches).
