Tucson Banded Gecko

I went into LLL Reptile the other day, since I'm down in Oceanside, CA for vacation. I ended up buying a Tucson banded gecko. They're going to ship it to me in Oregon on Monday for a Tuesday delivery. I'm really excited about this guy, and can't wait to pick up a female or two to pair him up with.

I'm sure you can find him a female or two at the PDX metro reptile expo on the 16th of August. I know that there's going to be a lot of northwest gecko breeders.

Yeah, we're definatly going to be there, keeping our eyes peeled. We're also hoping someone will have some mack bells, but the last few shows were slim pickin's for leos.

Actually it was Tuesday, but I've been there several times this week, it's only like three blocks from our vacation house.

Ahhh you guys should have fun in Oceanside, I live there and I can't complain, well maybe a Little bit

Yeah, Oceanside is great. We've been coming every year to the same beach house since I was 8 or so. Infact I used to live in Temecula until moving to Portland last November.

Awsome! I've never even heard of a Tuscan Banded Gecko before. Make sure and post pics of him when you get him please.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I figured better than making a new one just to post these pics...

These geckos are really cool. This is the only one we have any experience with, but he's as tame and hardy as a leopard gecko, and ridiculously cute. He gets so excited over food, and his eyes concentrate hard on his prey. Still looking for a female or two if anyone knows where to look...
