Tucson Banded Geckos Sexing...

Hey guys,

I just wanted to confirm the sex of my two Tucson Banded Geckos. To me, both look like males.

I would guess males... although I would need to see wat a female looks like to be accurate lol.

How old are they? They look like females to me. Sometimes females can be rather bulgy and have very small spurs.

Marcia, I am not sure on their exact age. I purchased both of them in August of '07. Here is a picture of them when I first got them. It shows how big they were when I got them. In the picture, the orange cap is a Gatorade cap and the white cap is a water bottle cap.

depending on the age I would say they are females.

OK, so that's 4 months ago and they look like hatchling juvies in the pic (using your reference), so they should be old enough to sex by now. Sooo... unless one of them pops up with some bigger bulges and more distinct spurs in the next cou8pl of weeks, I still say they are both girls!
