Is it normal for leos to lay with their bellies pressed on the floor of their tank? Toon loves to lay in front of her warm hide when she comes out at night. I'm assuming this is how they bask but I just want to make sure. To me, it looks like she is enjoying it. She flattens her little belly against the floor with her legs straight back against her sides, head down, and her eyes closed.
It doesn't indicate that she's cold or anything right? Her temps are fine. She does it more since I switched to slate tile from paper bag. When I had the paper bag, she used to lay on some flat rocks on the warm side, but now she chooses the slate. Is it possible that she is just enjoying the feeling of the slate because she didn't like the paper bag?
