Two leos in a 29 gallon?

Currently I have two leopard geckos one in a 29 gallon and one in a 10 gallon. I'd like to be able to move the one that's in the 10 gallon into the 29 gallon. One is a bit bigger then the other but they are both full grown adults. They are both females. Is the tank big enough for both of them? If it is possible I will not just drop them in their and see what happens. I will socialize them and make sure they have enough hides for both of them. Or is their enough room to put a divider in the middle? That would be my second choice. Thanks!:)

If i remember correctly the 29 gallon tanks are the same floor space as a 20 gallon long. I think it would be a little too cramped for 2 geckos. That's just my opinion. I prefer to house my geckos individually. This way I know exactly how much each gecko eats and poos. Also when you put females together one seems to be dominant over the other. The dominant gecko getting the most food/warm spots. I've had females fight and cause each other serious wounds.

If you are set on putting them together make sure you have plenty of hides. I would also clean the cage and furniture before introducing them. You may want to rearrange it too. This will make the cage more neutral ground.

I'd get creative with it and add a second story of some sort. Any elevation adds floor space. I laid slate pieces on top of short bricks that elevated it maybe 2 inches and doubled everything and housed two females together just fine in a 20g.

I have two females in a 20L and they seem to be doing just fine. Both gaining weight nicely and evenly. I have a hammock and a ramp for a second level and one tends to hang out more on that than the other

Thanks! But how did you socialize them? Did you just put them in the tank? I'm thinking of putting a screen mesh between them and let the smell each other and get to know each other a lot better.

I introduced them outside if the tank and saw how they reacted. If they seem to get along, make sure to rearrange the tank so that the current one isn't territorial
