they were being kept as a 'breeding pair' by the last owner but both weigh 32-34 grams. got 'em separated, have no clue how old they are. I often see geckos like this, they seem slender but not extremely thin. I have another gecko about a year old and she is just as long as either of them and weighs 50 grams. I'm wondering if these geckos are young, or is my other gecko obese? lol I'm not sure, they don't seem sick, they're just light and have slightly smaller tails. I would definitely like to see the tails plump up a little bit and will make sure they're well fed until they do. 30 grams just seems too light for being mature enough for me to be able to easily tell what sex they are. By the way the gecko in my avatar is yet another gecko not the other one I was talking about. He's a giant, big healthy tail, 95 grams, hardly any fat on his body.

The genders should be more than possible to tell on those two at 30 grams. You need to look under the tails, if there's a double bulge below the vent and several noticeable pores in a line above the vent, then it's a male. Lacking bulges and noticeable pores, it's most likely female. From the pictures, I *think* I'm seeing a bulge on the one you've identified as male in your post, so they're probably right.

As for their weight to length, their tails look plump enough to still be healthy. offer them lots of food and see if they get fatter tails! When I bought my geckos they were around 30g each, but they've gained a lot in the 2 months I've had them. They're closer to 40 now, need to weigh them to be sure. I wouldn't say those two are skinny, but maybe need a little more food while growing. Always make sure there's calcium available, of course :)

They're probably 4 or 5 month old babies :)

The genders are easy to identify, it's no mistaking the patternless for a male and the other for a female. I guess my concern wasn't really properly expressed, and I apologize for that because I get in at trouble at work for not being able to make coherent documentation all the time.

You really think 4-5 months? Other than the tails they seem kind of big. I guess I should have posted this pic first

This gecko is just over or at a year old. It's hard to tell exactly, she weighs 50 grams and is as long as the other two posted above. Are the ones up top just going to be bigger geckos than she is or does she look small and underfed? I don't know I just kind of got freaked out.

(notice the smiley face on the top of her head it's awesome, also the right front arm was damaged due to improper care from the last owners, that's also why she's missing a toe, she's fine now though.)
