I have two female geckos housed together in a 30 gallon long tank. They have been together a few months with no problems such as bullying, eating etc.

I recently went away for 3 days. I had fed both prior to my leave. My Murpheys patternless giant will only eat mealworms and my normal female only eats crickets. They both were gutloaded and dusted with plain calcium. I made sure the humid hide was moist. I checked temps and filled the two shallow water dishes. Before i left they appeared completely normal and healthy.

Now my normal female has squinty eyes and is uninterested in food . She moves around alot more than my patternless female. My patternless female looks very I'll. She seems like she has stayed on the cool end of the tank and is a very dark color. She also has a slight wobble when she walks but she looks very lethargic aswell. My patternless is normally a pig and will eat anytime. She is completely uninterested in food. What could be going on? MBD? Supplement issues? Temp or humidity problems?

My set up
30 gallon long tank
Paper towels substrate
UTH. Ceramic heat emitter when my house gets cold
Plenty of hides 2 warm, 1 humid, 2 middle and 2 cool.
Temps 90 on the hot. 85 in the middle 78 on the cool. Humidity 35%
2 shallow water dishes and a bottle cap of calcium without D-3
Supplements: zoo med calcium without d-3 for two feedings, rep-cal with D-3 two feedings and rep-cal multivitamin once a week.
Feeding gutloaded and dusted crickets and meal worms.

Female #1
Mojo
Age 2.5 years. 70 grams
Normal type
Female #2
Luna
Murphey s patternless giant
Age: 8 months
68 grams

Please any advice would be appreciated. What could cause this? What can i do for my female who is weak and lethargic?

I would cut back on the amount of calcium you're giving and just use the rep-cal with D3 once a week and multivitamins twice a month if you're gut-loading the feeders. I would also add another humid hide so they both have their own. Try giving them some water, just put a drop on their mouth, and see if maybe they got a little dehydrated while you were gone.

Hmm, perhaps they are ovulating. If the only symptoms are not moving/eating a lot and they aren't losing a lot of weight, just keep them hydrated with access to a moist hide.

I disagree with cutting back the supplements. Your supplement regimen sounds fine to me.
