Types of Snows

Hi :) I've been going through my morph research notes and I have a question. At first I thought Mack Snows were the only type of snows. I came across Gem Snows and looked them up on Leopard Gecko Wiki, it said that there are 4 different types of snows. Obviously, a Mack Snow is the most common. The other snows I can find according to leo. wiki are Gem Snow, TUG Snow, and Line Bred Snow.

Are these truly types of snows? Or are they just one version of a black and white spotted gecko developed by one breeder? I thought that's what Line Bred meant... that one person developed a morph enough to make it their own "line bred" morph.

I know that TUG snow is The Urban Gecko line of snow, is this the same as a Mack snow just developed by The Urban Gecko? Or is it a different finding altogether? same with "Gem snow" and "Line Bred" snow.

Lol now I am really confused. Basically... are there 4 different types of snows? Or just the same morph, but developed differently by different people?

Thank you in advance<3

Mack snow, gem snow and tug snow are all different genes, but they are thought to be linked somehow, as breeding a mack snow to one of the other two snows can still produce Super snows. However breeding a gem to a tug wont get any super snows.
As you mentioned TUG snow was discovered and developed by the urban gecko, im not sure about gem snow, but yes it is another snow gene.

And line bred snow is just polygneic i think, ie made by line breeding lighter and lighter gecko's.

Line breeding, is when you breed together to light gecko's, then take the lightest/best offpsring them breed them together to get even lighter gecko's then breed the lightest again, and doing this until you have the desired result.
I say 'lighter' but thats only if your aiming for a really light gecko, so this is what a Line Bred Snow is, a white gecko developed by lots of line breeding.

I think the main line breeding morph tangerines, breeding the best tangerines together to get better and brighter then breeding the best and brightest again to even brighter.

So to sum up, yes there are four type of snow.
