This is weird!! 2 nights ago, we had really severe thunder storm. The few hours from 12am onward, the sky had been flashing non-stop; and I heard the loudest thunder in my life! I remember talking to my husband on how weird some of those thunder sounds - besides the normal rumbling (far away) and cracking (nearby) sound, I'm also hearing some super loud "CRACK-->WOOSH" sound. Anyways, today there were reports that more than 10 different people spread out in different locations in Hong Kong claimed to have seen a disc-shaped object with lights on the bottom circumference in the sky, some have taken videos and photos. Here is a link in youtube:

Some translations: The first person said he was trying to take pictures of the lightning when the UFO suddenly appeared. He said the lights from the UFO is brighter than the lightning-lit sky. He also pointed to the vague mountain in the background to prove that its not some lights from a building. At the end of the video, the weather authority has dismissed the UFO claims as weather balloon, comets, satellites or reflection of lights...etc. (as usual). To me, there is no doubt that this is a genuine incident!
Here is another footage taken by someone else (note how severe the thunder storm was - was right above my head!):

(you can just watch from 7 minutes onward, its pretty much the same - a bright object hovering in the sky.)
p.s. I checked my leos to see if they were scared, and all of them just sit outside of their hides, wide eyes, looking very innocent. My sister said her chinchillas acted the same too.
