Ok so one of my three leos in one tank (one in there temporarily) laid 2 infertile eggs. They were deflated, hard and a tint of yellow. Is this a sign of any health problems, or just a natural thing???

Soft eggs could be from lack of nutrition especially calcium. It isn't uncommon for a female to lay infertile eggs in her first year, or to start off the season. Especially if she is underweight when she started breeding. If you are properly caring for her she should produce fertile eggs still. More than likely maybe the first one or two clutches may be bad.

Isn't it possible that those are still fertile? I could be off but maybe...Felicia?... said she still incubates them and and some have hatched. I can't remember who said it...

The one i got from you Brian is doing great, and so is the other ones i have. The only one i'm having a problem with is Giedo, a normal female. She is most likely somewhat blind, because she when she sees a superworm, she'll try to catch it a couple inches away, and miss horribly. This makes it hard for her to see her food, and doesn't eat very often. I'll be keeping a close eye on her, and i'll keep you guys updated.

Scott, With them being deflated and hard, sound like they may have dried out before being found, it's poss if that is the case that they were fertile. So there would be no point in trying to incubate them, they are too far gone.

I agree with Brian, first eggs of the season can be infertile, especially in first year breeders.

the thing is.... i have three geckos in the same tank, and one is unclear on a female. Im almost positive she is, but not 100% certain. It is around 8 months old, and i've seen no attraction between them, so i'll check it out tonight, an d if it does turn out to be a male, i'll be in trouble:(

If you aren't sure of their sexes then they shouldn't be housed together.

sounds like you've got a full load of issues with them.. I'd post a pic because at 8 months you should definitely be able to properly sex them, but i agree with Mandi; if you're unsure then separate them until you are.

Like most said their first clutches are often infertile but they also could of been found too late also.. It happens.

I feel terrible about the blind one.. Are sure she's blind or just has bad aim. Has a vet done a pupil dilation exam ? if she is indeed blind I would use tongs to get her the proper nutrition she needs.. Poor little girl..

Keep us posted on her condition..

Good luck..
