UK to ban incandescent light bulbs by 2011?!

so reading the paper today, and i see an article on how the goverment wants to make incandescent light bulbs illegal by 2011 in favour of CFLs! so what happens if this does happen? what about ppl who rely on incandescent light bulbs to provide heat?

You could use a ceramic heat emitter. The CFL will produce light while the CHE gives off heat. Or you could use those "Power Sun" bulbs that gives off both heat and light.

Australia is to ban incadescents also... "Global Warming" -- don't mind that Australia produces tons of coal...
