Undertank heater and thermometer

I have an undertank heater for my 20 gallon, but it honestly does not seem to heat the floor enough to keep my geckos consistently happy.

Does anyone recommend a good undertank heater for a 20g?

I also need a recommendation for a thermometer to check floor temps instead of air temps.

Any UTH should work fine. I use ZooMed. A digital thermometer with a probe is good. Or a temp gun.

I use the exoterra UTH. You can buy a digital thermometer at any pet store for about seven bucks. Or you can get it online for about five bucks. You do need one to check the temps.

Would a digital thermometer with a probe that's used for fish tanks work? I'm not finding a lot of ones with probes except for aquariums.

I have a fish tanks and I just use the stick on thermometer.
If it has a probe and a digital thermometer
then stick it on UTH and there you go.
