Uneven UTH Heat

I have a 20 gallon long setup (no gecko yet). I've installed a ZooMed Medium UTH and probe/thermometer, but I'm having trouble with the temps. Inside the humid hide, the UTH gets as hot as 95. Inside the hot hide, however, it is only getting around 82. They are right next to each other and the hot hide is closer to the heater than the humid one. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Could it be that the ambient room temperature is too cool?

i wouldnt worry about that too much whats your ambient temp ?

Humid hides tend to be a bit warmer no matter what you do but that is a little hot, as asked what are you air temps?

What is your humid hide made of? Would you mind posting a picture?
I know with one I made (before I got my Lee's Shedding Stump) I had a tupperware bowl and I poked some holes in the top (3 with a small nail) and it helped lower the temps.

it's doing better now after I got a space heater. The ambient air is about 70-72 and the cold side is now 72. The humid hide is a tupperware bowl with a hole in the top.
