how long do leos generally take to settle in? i had my 1st as a xmas prezzie but she still seems to b a little nervous, shes always in her hide, even during the nyt, and when i get her out she just stands perfectly still, as if shes thinkin "if i move im goin 2 get eaten". also she doesnt seem to like coming out very much either, i put my hand in for a little 2 try and get her to investigate but she doesnt, then i pick her up but she reali doesnt seem to like bein picked up :s

im not 2 wurried bout this to be honast because she is eatin perfectly (3 or 4 crickets every 1-2 days) and shes is due to shed so health wise she is fine, just wundering is this norm and how long will she take to be like others ive read so much about lol

How old is it? If it is a hatchling thats pretty normal. I used to use a red light at night with the room pitch black so i could watch mine as a baby because she always ran for a hide when she saw me. She eventually realized i was no problem for her and in time realized i brought food and now she comes OUT of her hide if she sees me. So id say just give it time, i know its hard to just sit and wait though.
