Unsure, but he's pretty whatever he is...

I don't think this little guy is anything out of the ordinary, but it's easier to ask and look like a numbskull than to sit around surfing the Internet hoping to stumble onto something useful. I went to pack him for the reptile show last weekend, but he just looked different to me than my perception of what a normal fat-tail should look like. Blue tail, orange speckles coming into the lighter bands which are changing color, and the fading head markings...

Father - White-out
Mother - Het Patternless

Anyway, thoughts?

No, this is a fat-tail gecko...

I'm asking if it's a white-out or not. It's 66% possible het patternless. What do whiteouts look like as hatchlings? Is it completely obvious? Do they develop over time? This guy seems to be changing, but I have no basis for comparison as it's only one of two hatchlings that I have, and the other is patternless, so that one's super easy.

Thanks Jessica, I didn't think he was, but didn't want to go selling him for nothing, either, without knowing for sure. I appreciate you chiming in.

Keith...the easiest way to tell if they are whiteouts, besides being black and white, is they have a black spot on each of their hind legs (on top if the thigh region) as hatchlings. Look at Jessica's picture and you'll see what I mean.
