I've had Nix for 3 weeks. She was determined to be healthy by a reptile vet. He looked at a stool sample and said she has no parasites.

she has eaten 2 crickets in the 3 weeks I've had her. She will not touch worms of any kind.

I have moved her into a 20 gallon long tank. She is starting to be more active in the evening. She walks around her cage, looking up and trying to climb on the background I have taped on the back of the aquarium.
she is also tearing her humid hide apart at night. In the morning the moss is all on the outside.
is her behavior normal??

She might be going to lay more eggs with all that wandering and digging. If that's the case, I would expect that she will eat more after. Also, at three weeks, with all that's been going on, she might still have some moving stress to work through.

Did you ever get the temps regulated so that she has a 90 F floor temp on the warm side? Just want to make sure she isn't so active because it's too hot and she's looking for a cooler spot...

Yes. It stays anywhere between 88-90 on the hot side. I taped the probes down on top of the under tank mat. She often sits on the probes. The cool side runs anywhere from 77-73.

i wondered if she might lay more eggs too. So far, nothing. She's calmed down a bit on ripping out her moss. She's still not eating well. I wonder if I stressed her out again by switching her to a bigger tank. I really needed to though. She just didn't have enough room in the 10 gallon.

Yeah, every time you change the setup, it basically can reset the adjustment period. Just keep following the "new gecko" standard of handling and disturbing as little as possible until she begins eating regularly. As long as she isn't dropping a lot of weight, she will be fine.

Thanks for all your help indyana. She is starting to eat better. She ate a cricket Sat. Night and a wax worm last night.

i pretty much leave her alone. I'm cool with it if she's not real social. I like to watch her go about her business and do her Gecko things. She seems to be adjusting now.

Good work! After she's had a good appetite for a few weeks, you can start introducing yourself and your hand more. Just give her time to feel comfortable with what's going on. :)

She's really eating well now. She gobbled up 2 crickets last night. It was pretty cool to watch her hunt them. She had no problem with me when I helped her catch the second one!!

I even picked her up to turn her in the direction the cricket had gone. Didn't phase her at all. She took right off after it. I'll just keep taking it slow with her.
