I'm not sure why but I felt like posting an update, I don't even know if people do this but I feel so giddy as a new leo owner I had to XD Sorry if that seems a little self-absorbed or something!
Nefarious ate for the first time yesterday... Just a day after I brought him/her home! I figured I would just try, since that's the usual feeding schedule for when they were at the pet store. He ate all but one small cricket. I think I put in 8 or 9.
He's getting pretty hand tame, likes to crawl down into my shirt when I have him on my shoulder. Also, what's the best way to pick up a leopard gecko? Let them crawl onto your hand? I've been sort of guiding Nefarious into my hand by lightly poking his back while he's facing my hand. Is this ok?
