Update on the 3 tail-less guys from PetCo

My brother decided to take the high yellow and named him (just an assumption of the sex) El Hefe. I kept the two tangs. The smaller one's name is Calista and the bigger one is Aden. Now for the exciting part: I checked on them this morning and saw the first signs of regrowth on Aden. I was so excited. Here's the pics

whats up with petcos and missing tails? i dont think ive ever seen petco have geckos and not have at least one freshly broken tail.... speaking of petco though, i actully saw patternless's at one today, there were 4 of them, 3 had broken tails..... does petco carry wild caughts, or are they actully cb and just not cared all that much for?

As for PetCo- I don't know if it happens in shipping-the poor things are soooooooo tiny when they are shipped out to the stores or if it is from having so many crammed into one display tank or from having larger and smaller ones generally mixed in together

Yeah, I think I'm going to get a job at Petco and try to thin out the little guys, and make sure they're taken care of.

My Gecko was in a way a petsmart rescue. Even though this rescue is my first.. haha.. his tail is growing back. Does a tail that grows back always look gummy like? or do they get text back to their skin like the rest of their tail?

The tails fall of when the people working at the store try to grab them to sell them. I once saw at a petsmart a guy put a lizard in the container and the tail was stinking out and when he closed it the tail just flew of onto the ground. They are very unexperienced and they sometimes grab them by the tails.
