The last time I was here, I had just moved from San Francisco to Vacaville with Leon to help my parents pay some of their bills (dad's a real estate broker and not doing well right now) - and in turn, save some money since we'd be rent-free. We did a lot of commuting to work in SF (120 miles a day commute) - and to make a long story short, my mom kicked us out. Why? Because she wanted our wedding her way and not our way... so if I wanted it small, she wanted huge. If I wanted outside, she wanted in a church, etc. etc. Anyway, she went into ignore mode and told us to find a new place to live. Sucks because we just gave them money and Leon quit his job to get something closer, only to be booted out by the time he was getting interviews up in Vacaville.

So Leon and I are now renting back in the SF area and are trying to take things one step at a time... the wedding planning is on hold and we're waiting for a callback from one specific place of employment that he's been training to work for.

Our bedroom in the apartment is too small to accommodate the tanks and racks in our fully furnished room and, since the roomie has a dog that likes to eat everything (literally), we are afraid to keep the reptiles in the living room. So right now, all the geckos are in a rack at my aunt's house. My snake was at a friend's house for the past month, but had managed to escape this past weekend when I was going to pick him up... and with no luck so far, I'll be setting up little traps around their house in hopes he'll go for the food and I can take him to my aunt's house as well.

Thankfully, we're on a short-term lease. So once Leon starts working, we'll save more for our own place and take all the reptiles with us. Like we're starting over again...

GAH, everything's so hard right now -_- And I just needed a place to vent and figured I'd do it here just because I'm overwhelmed and... yeah.

So breeding projects will be held off until we're more stable again. :main_no:

We would like to thank you all for your support and kind words. We're hanging in there - and so far so good! We're actually better now that my friend's roommate found Wendell! We will be around on the forums more often now that we're settled into the new apartment and have more time since we're not commuting as much everyday! WE MISSED IT HERE!!!! :D

Also, I'd be down for hanging out sometime! I can be there in under 30 minutes ;)
