UPDATE- Rescue

Heres Some Update to Everyone who followed this guys recovery in progress.

Came to me underfed, never given calcium and or moist hides. Had shed ontop of shed stuck in his eyes for a long time.

5days of soaking and using q-tips and tweezers i freed his eyes and hes now able to see slow movement. He is also now eating like a huge pig.

Day 1 in my Care with shed and under weight.

Day 12 with body weight rising and eyes better.

It looks to me like the tail is already getting a little fatter. It doesn't look like the skin is so baggy. Excellent job. I am so happy he is getting better. Can't wait to see what he looks like after a few more months in your care.

Thanks Guys Hes a pig. I put in roughly 30 mealies a day in his bowl and their gone next morning.

Right now im gonna let him eat what he can to get back to weight. and then limit him daily.


He is getting better eye sight. I watched him eat the mealies today, and he had the quick downward stare when they moved. So far i think his sight is getting better daily.

You can see that the eyes are pushed back a little bit but ill take that any day over blindness

The Rescue Loves being held now, he dont try being spider man and leap out of hands anymore.

Thanks i took him outside last night and he stayed calm. gained 17 grams since i got him. He is an absolute Pig
