I haven't been on in a while but finally have gotten settled down around here (Spring Break woo!!) what with school troubles, moving across town, family and such. Haven't had much personal computer time except occasionally checking some forums I'm on. But anyways, here are my two leopard geckos after they've mostly grown up!

Rufus when I first got him:

First thought he was some sort of emerine, because he use to and still does have some light green tinting on his sides. But I'm beginning to think he's more of a tangerine now. He's an absolute piggy and LOVES mealworms. That's their staple that I've switched to from crickets as I've started breeding my own now, just enough to supply myself. But I still give them some occasionally as well as a waxworm or two every few weeks :) I've had him for approximately 7 to 7 1/2 months (bought him Sept. '12)

Pidge when I got her:

She's an absolute doll still and will forever hold a piece of my heart :) I just can't believe how much she's changed since her 3 inches of infant-hood (or something... whatever you want to call it), even though I've had her for about 8-9 months. She's sweet and for the most part calm/docile but she does tend to be picky. Occasionally when I scoop her up she will make this weird "crabbing" sound (I think I mentioned it a long time ago, in one of my posts) which I've taken to mean "Put me back!". From what I can tell it doesn't seem to hurt her, maybe just make her uncomfortable the way I may have picked her up, because at the most she struggles a little (which I then put her back down) and has never shown aggression from it. I really have no way to describe the sound other than the word "crabbing", which just sort of sticks out in my head. It doesn't sound like a respiratory thing, and she never wheezes or gasps or anything.
I'm pretty bent on thinking she's Murphy Patternless by the design she had when she was a baby, though some people tell me Patternless Tremper Albino. I'm not too savvy in morphs though.

Thanks for looking and sorry for the long post :)

They're both looking fantastic!! Very beautiful and you can tell they are very well taken care of, with lots of love :sweetheart:

We've had a lot of females make that weird sound when we pick them up. It's like they're grumbling, "not now, I don't wish to be bothered" LOL, it's cute. Nothing to worry about. These little ones can be rather vocal when they want to be. Sometimes, you may also hear "chirping" sounds. And other strange noises that are ineffable. A few of our males do the "crabbing" also, but it seems the females do it more.

Pidge does look Patternless Tremper albino, but it would be helpful to have clearer eye pictures.

You're doing a great job with them!!

Thank you very much! And I'm glad the sound isn't anythin bad :)

I will try to get a better eye pic if I can after I get back from a family trip (will be back in a few days but their tank is cleaned out and there's a bunch of mealies to feed them while I'm gone ;)), although I'm stuck with the iPhone camera until I get a new camera >.<

Edit: however if it helps her eyes are mostly tan/brown with dark brown pupils.
