Hi Guys,
So i've had my lovely gecko for about a year now and I have been using the repti-carpet. So far I have no issues with it but i've been throwing around the idea of buying some ceramic tiles or slate for the bottom of her cage instead. I was just wondering if someone could go through the pros and cons of ceramic tiles. Also i was wondering if I did get ceramic tiles would I put sand underneath the tiles so that it kinda acts like cement? Thank you so much for your input :D

I use ceramic tiles, could never find any rough textured slate. I love them because they're much easier to clean and sanitize than carpet and hold heat really well. Sand underneath will help conduct heat from the UTH better, since most tiles have little pockets underneath them.

I line the tank with reptile carpet and then place the tiles over that. Works great.

Hi guys thabks for your answers. I had another quick question.
If I do decided to go with tiles can it just be any kind from a store or is there a specific kind I should get. Thanks again!
