Hmmm.. How about putting the humidifer on a time which only ran at a regular basis such as twice a day for 15 mins? would it be too much..

A humid hide with a substrate like eco earth would be a better choice. The eco earth will hold the humidity better than wet paper towels. Leos don't need a humid tank, just a humid spot to hide out in when needed.

Hmmm... Okay.. But does it means I need to have 2 hides for it? 1 wet and humid and 1 normal.. Currently I am only providing it with one hide and it is the one with the wet paper towel.. It is staying inside all day long.. Is it okay for it... And where can I get eco earth.. I am not situated in the states.. So a online store will be perfect.. Thanks for the advice...

I have 3 hides for each gecko. One on the cool side, one on the warm side and the humid hide in the middle. So in my tank with 2 geckos there are 5 hides (they share the humid hide since they don't shed at the same time usually).

Eco earth is shredded coconut husk. Can you get exoterra or zoo med products where you are? They both carry it. Some people use moss too.

Hi, so am I correct to say that they will know to choose the hide to go to when they are about to shed? But anyway will go find another hide for them later this week.. I believe I have seen Exoterra and zoomed but a very very limited range of equipment only.. Haven seen eco earth yet.. It is in a packet form like soil? I am thinking of using peatmoss.. Any feedback on that..
