uth attachment

is there a way to attach a uth temporarily, so it can be moved later. I have a tank that i don't plan on using long term so i want to be able to take the uth off and use it on another tank in the future.

I thought that those things have a sticky back on one side.. so couldn't you just, not take off the sticky covering and let the tanks weight hold it down. That way you could always move it later?

I purchased the zoo-med UTH and was able to remove it after the initial setup and stick it under another tank. If your careful, it's not that hard to peel it off successfully. They tell you not to because you can peel off some of the surface off the UTH which can result in the unit not working or a fire hazard, but I only did it once and would only do it once seeing as I had to and it was a clean peel off.

I have found that UTH's need to be warm in order to peel them off. I have used foil tape to attach them, and they come off fairly easily.
