uth on plastic

can you put an uth on plastic?

I have my uth on plastic sterilite tubs without a problem.
Just be sure you have it on a thermostat and you should be fine.

I have had all my hatchling tubs with UTH under them. No issues. I also have a UTH under my rubbermaid bin for my dubia roaches.

All must have rheostats or something to control temp but you should be fine!

i have uth under sterilite tubs on a plastic rack with out thermostats for over 2 years now without problems.

I asked the same question and was told no.

They did you wrong. You would really have to heat the plastic tubs up way hotter than a UTH can get to melt them. I've never had a problem, thermostat or not.
