uth?

i have a 9x18 uth for a 24x48" tank. it is divide which makes it a 9x9 uth and a tank that is 24x24. Is that big enough? it only covers a little bit but when she wants heat she still goes to it, i dont know why or if you need one that is 1/3 the size of the tank.

The reason that you might want one that was bigger is that the rest of the tank may be too cool, and you may find that she does not spend much time there.

9x9 is a fair sized uth; much more practical than the 6x8 I started with. I am quite happy with my 11x12 (actually 11x24 in a 12x48 split tank) heat tape.

well the cool side is about my room temperature (70-77 throught day)
