OK, this is driving me nuts

SHTCT x LVPA

what will the babies be.......

I know that they'll be het LVPA.....but will they show tang, or just look like normals that are het for tang???

I'm not 100% sure but I think there is a chance they can show some signs of tang.

They could show Tang and even be SHTCT, but it depends on the background of the LVPA.

what do you mean by that exactly? Providing the SHTCT isn't a het LV or Patty they should be a pretty good chance that she produces hypo tang and more SH. They real question IMO would be when the babies are bred to each other does the SHTCT have influence on LVPA? I have yet to hear that its possible and lean to think that it will have no influence.

I'm only concerned with the first generation progeny so far, I plan on breeding together the offspring once they reach that point...as of now, I only want to know, will the first generation offspring be tangs het lvpa or normal het tang het lvpa

I meant if the LVPA had come from a SHTCT somewhere down the line; she'd have better chances at producing good looking ones. Dude I confuse myself sometimes...

You could get anything from normal to tang, just luck of the draw.
