With that lighting, it could be a dull blizzard. I wouldn't pay 3K for a juvenile black pearl. An adult that was black would be worth it, only if I was a breeding it.

That photo looks exactly like the photos Urban Gecko had when they were selling their 'Black Pearls". Regardless, it is a juvenile leopard gecko and without a few years of proving it out, and recent photos of adult 'Black Pearls', I find it unacceptable to pay that amount for a so-called morph like that. Sorry, I'm pessimistic.

...you'd think that with a 3k gecko they would at least keep the shed off its toes so it didnt lose them.. but that's just my opinion

I would never pay that much. And from what I've read on here haven't people been saying the black pearls don't stay dark when they mature anyway? I mean, they are darker than normal but not as dark as they are as babies. If that is the case, not worth it imo.

For anyone wondering what an adult black pearl looks like Kelli just posted a thread with a pic of the one she purchased recently. I have seen an adult in person, and they do lighten up a bit to look like dark/dirty snows or normals. Remember that a gecko is worth whatever a person agrees to pay for it. Also, when TUG had black pearls on their website they were 3k each, so if somebody is looking to make back what they paid for the animal with no profit, then that would not be a surprising price tag.
