Thursday I received my Bell Albino Juvi. I'm pretty sure it's a "rainwater" but I'm not to great with telling, yet. So I could be wrong :p. Anyway, turned out they sent a female. I'm not to keen, on females because all except for one I've had, have been EVIL! Putting it nicely. Well, so far this lil girl is AMAZING. For the age, and not being handled shes great! She will let me pet her head and ears, rub her back without doing the "don't touch me" hump back thing. She's never hissed or made a sound. I'm not big on holding my geckos but this one is just amazing. Even out of my males, which I find to be more outgoing and tolerate handling. She's doing better then them. She crawled into my shirt and went to sleep. No trying to get away, just very content with everything! I don't know if there's a difference between morphs but I find the blizzards to be hard to tame/very tempermental. The "wilds" to be the next crankiest...My tangerines + high yellows seem to accept contact more but I've still got hisses from them. The bell is just..perfect!:D Anyway, that's what I've been experiencing, thought I'd share.

Pics are in the gecko picture section topic title "so excited".....But I just prefer males over females in any color morph. So it would have been nice if they sent me a male as I prefered it. That's where I feel I didn't receive what I ordered. But no worries because she is a sweetheart and I am still satistfied.

But maybe someone could tell me what she is, like specifics and how do you know? I know it's by the eyes but I'm not sure how you know?...She was just sent to me as a "bell albino".....

Finally able to get a shot of her eyes, they're always closed...

Cool thanks guys! :D So next question is, I heard the bells have/keep their chocolate pigment? True? Thanks so much!

I must just be lucky or something cause Ive never had a leopard gecko that was cranky or evil. I may have not had as many as some people but I have had over 40 leos in my time. The only ones that seem to ever have an attitude is the youngest babies. They are mostly just jumpy tho and yappy. I have had blizzards, patternless, wild type, albinos, shct, you name it.

I've had about 8-9 blizzards...Some of them were "rescues" I just got "healthy" and/or found better homes for, but every single one of those were soooooo cranky! I do have one at the moment and she is bad. Even a few others I've talked to said the same about blizzards. Even when they were adults. But I'm sure it's not like that for everyone. I've had Wild-Snow-Tangerines....and so far the ones I find the best for me, were/are the tangerines + the bell. They seem relaxed even as hatchlings/juvi, at least the ones I've come in contact with. Needless to say I'm sure if you put time and effort into focusing on one specific gecko it will make a awesome buddy. :)

All in all, I just am really in  with my lil girly bell. :main_yes:
