Gary is so sick. He's a 3-5 year old leopard gecko that we've had only since April. Anyways, a month or so ago I noticed he had a couple crusty bits on his mouth (he was on sand at that point) so I cleaned them off and just have had him on paper towel. Then about 3 weeks ago he had a bad shed and his eyes were kind of wonky. Took him into the vet and she gave me antibiotic ointment for his mouth and eyes. It didn't even get a little bit better and his right eye got really swollen. Took him back in, she gave me two different meds: one for his eyes and one for his mouth and is now being syringe fed critical care 3x a day. Yesterday between his meds in the morning and the meds at night, he now has two lumps on his neck on the right side. This morning his face and the top of his head is swollen too. We're going to take him back in, I just have no clue what's going on and the vet seems to be a bit unsure of what's going on too. Anybody have any ideas at all? I'm really stressed out and very sad about it all. He just seems so uncomfortable. Any ideas or help would be very appreciated. I've attached a picture of his swollen side just to give an idea.
