I'm a wee bit worried about my first two hatchlings of this year. The pairing were both first time breeders.
Anyway, both eggs were fine in the incubator. I didn't have any temperature spikes. I did lose power for 30 minutes during the incubation period though. Both eggs started denting on the 5th, and one finally hatched out last night. She was tiny and barely the size of the egg she just left. The other just hatched out this morning and is the exact same. They're both active and alert. They're running about their tubs right now actually. I haven't weighed them or taken any photos yet. I will take some tonight and weigh them after they've had some time to relax.
But is it normal to get a few really small hatchlings? Last year I had none of mine anywhere near this small, out of 18 hatchlings.
Will attach some pictures and their weights tonight.
