Finally! My vet school applications are DONE* (*Cornell supplemental doesn't count because its due at the end of the month :p). I just need to send in the payment and I'm done! Fin! Its over! Then I get to spend the next several months panicking that I forgot something ;).

I can't be the only one here who's going through he terrors of the application process. Anyone else going for vet school? Grad school?

The past week has been so stressful because not only are vet school applications and supplementals due, I just had a comparative vertebrate anatomy exam (a Bio 500 level course) and there’s a repro exam Monday that I haven't started studying for!!! And the icing on my ‘stressful but you'll live’ cake is that today one of my alpacas kicked me square in the leg (I deserved it for not paying attention, but it still hurt!) and now I have a funny limp!

Why oh why do they have to make vet/grad school applications due in the fall! To anyone else completing applications, you have my sympathy, empathy, and best wishes.

Around.
I'm jealous.. I figured I would never get in this year.. so I gave up on my apps 2 weeks ago. With 2 great veterinarian reccomendations, almost my entire app. done including personal statement, I gave up.. ugh.. I hate my life. I'm applying for a masters in animal science, then I guess I will try again.

Best wishes with the masters degree application. If you want to try vet school this year and you have the supplemental applications done, there's still some time left to hit the submit button. And regardless of that there's always next year or even the year after for vet school. And a masters degree, in progress or completed, would look really awesome on an application I think. Best wishes and hope you get into the masters program, is there any specific area of animal science you'll be studying?

It's hard to get into vet school, true, but impossible if you don't try, no? Good luck on the first round and interviews, etc!
