Vietnamies gecko

Hey lol I cant spell but there are some vietnamiese leopard geckos on kingsnake. they are crazy cool! I cant find very much care info though, anyone know anything about this?

oh they are WC,...ok nevermind it said CB...but then again it said vientaminininmanies also. They are cool looking though he hee.

BTW leopard breeder, I usually only post in the leopard gecko forums....and this was general discusion to me.

So.. yes they are mislabeled.. and there is a chance that they are WC but I highly doubt it. The animals I saw listed on KS are hatchling Goniurosaurus hainanensis. Actual "Vietnamese Leopard Geckos" are Goniurosaurus araneus. They look much different. Check out the posts of forum member Gecko on this site. He keeps a lot of Goni's and has pictures posted of all of his different types.

thanks David, mabey I can find a trustworthy person on here that actually keeps/breeds some weird gecko...I was considering Marcias yucatans...I just think it would be cool to have a different kinda gecko

I didn't read the KS thread, but did open it and see the geckos. I assumed(we all know the saying) that mislabeled, therefore WC imports.

They very well may be CB animals?

Chris.. I totally understand what you mean about having different geckos. When I actually stop to think about all of the different species I have kept over the years its really kind of scary to me. I will PM you with some info. And Paul... I totally know what you mean also. The thing I also really hate is Common Names. They are really useless. Makes things 50x more confusing.

Hmm is there a picture of this gecko? I might've seen it before, I just got back from my visit to my dad in vietnam about a month ago and I saw alot of different reptiles there. I saw a lizard that look like a water dragon but brown and a gecko that make a sound "Kak-keh" which give it the name.
