Are they good for substrates if so. Can it produce heat well? How to clean it, but probably I'll just get a new one cause my dad is a Real state Employed by himself. So yeah. Just wanna know cause I'm just afraid about my Reptile Carpet . Every time when I pick up my leopard gecko its toenails are stuck.

I've never used vinyl (you're talking about linoleum, right?), but I think that you could use that. But I would test it out with your UTH first- use a thermometer on top of it and see what the temp is. If it's too hot, you might be able to use two layers, but then be careful that it doesn't melt on the bottom.

You could just use tile made out of rock, its what i use. You can get it at Home depot or Lowes and they are only like a buck or two a tile. They hold the heat really well and my gecko seems to love it.

i wouldnt know, id be worried about it melting because of the heat, but then again i doubt 92 degrees would be enough to do that.

Vinyl will withstand the normal temps, I would be more concerned of the chemical vapors especially if a heater malfunctioned.

I wouldn't be concerned about the vinyl melting; but I would be concerned about the heat causing it to release vapors into the air that your poor little leo could not get away from.

Any ceramic or slate tile that is not shiny smooth will work well. There are hundreds of colors and textures. Just take a look around, and see what you like best. I would get something with at least a little texture to it so that my gecko's little toes would have something to grip onto.

I love my tiles!

Off the top of my head, not really, you would need a tile cutter. Unless you use tiles of the paper towel variety. IMO paper towels are the easiest to use to fit the tank.

I have two layers across the floor and four sheets in the corner where my geckos go for easy clean up. You just have to try something then adjust accordingly.

Myself I like the ceramic tiles the best they have some that arn't super smooth to allow traction and you can buy a 12"X12" tile for around 2.00 or less .
