Hi gang:

Quick question. If I dust my mealworms with stuff I bought from a well know reptile person (on this forum), do I need to provide any additional minerals/vitamins in a separate dish for my leos?

Thanks,
B

We need to know what the "Stuff" you bought is in order to know what else you may need to dust the mealworms with :)

I dust my Geckos feeders with calcium powder (no D3) with almost every feeding. About twice a month I will dust the feeders with calcium with D3 and a vitamin powder, Vionate.

I also leave a small dish of calcium powder (no D3) in my juvies and adult females tank at all times.

Hope this helps!

It's the same thing most professional athletes take :main_yes:

Yes, Cody's Pro Gutload is for feeding your crickets and mealworms, not dusting the feeders. You will need to use calcium powder every 3 feedings, and a multivitamin weekly. I use Rep-Cal products, which can be found at PetCo or PetsMart.

The Pet-Co that I worked at didn't keep Rep-Cal at all, seems it was a PetsMart specific product. We use Osteo-Form and Vionate, as well as RepCal calcium with d3. We also keep a small dish of Osteo-Form in the tub with each female. It has worked great for us the past 2 seasons.
